Nasi Lemak Everywhere
On my way to work in the morning, I see nasi lemak being sold at every corner!
I'm sure you have noticed it too.
It's our Malaysian staple diet. I have send out this warning.
It's deadly!
I'm sure everybody knows it too how bad the cholestrol-laden but delicious coconut-milk rice combined with sambal tastes. But people just turn a blind eye with their brains in ingnorant mode.
I see all these innocent working people buying it early in the morning as if it's the only breakfast food to get.
I guess taking healthy cereals or corn flakes and milk (my favourite) is out of the question as you can't bring milk to the office. So for convenience sake we are courting with impending heart attacks!
But I think the nasi lemak sellers are filthy rich. I saw one nasi lemak seller near the Amcorp Mall LRT station driving a large expensive SUV to pick up the utensils and stuff after everything is sold.
Shame on them - the 'Nasi Lemak' death peddlars.

Good things not nice. Nice things not good. How lah like that? Also, the convenience factor - you have nasi lemak peddlers everywhere. I've only seen a sandwich peddler once in KL, and eventually he diversified, selling bihun goreng, and yes, you guessed it, nasi lemak bungkus. Even when given a healthier alternative, people chose unwisely ;)

It's really true, the most delicious and tasty stuff actually kills us. Oh well, I guess as long we maintain a healthy diet and consistent exercise routine, we might be able to curb the heart attack or stroke. :P
