Petaling Street sanitized
After the recent blitz on unlicensed stalls by DBKL these past few weeks, Petaling Street now looks completely 'sanitized'.
No more illegal DVD / CD sellers.
No more 5 socks for RM10 stall I wanted to get too :)
I seems that the stall owners cannot take more than 6inches beyond the sidewalk from their stalls.
Hmmm.. just feels different, this "new" Petaling Street.

What is missing in the picture are groups of the VCD peddlers, waiting to approach you with their plastic catalogues of the VCDs that they have. In other words, they are still there although not standing next to their makeshift tables.

Yes you are right. As I walked further up, I was approached by several of them (all within plain view of DBKL officers)
