Brake crazy driver

Took bus 61 today. I agree that the new busses are nice but I think the bus drivers are really abusing these new vehicles.

This morning I experienced riding a bus where the driver went brake crazy. You know the type... he brakes and then speeds up and repeats the cycle at random intervals.

It got so bad that I saw a lady actually vomit into the trash can.

I wonder if the new fleet of busses is part of the 4 billion subsidy from the government?

LRT breakdown

Well, not long after my rants on how bad the bus service is. Rapid KL's LRT breaks down for the whole day.

I know it's all over the news the day it broke down but I feel not enough coverage was given on blogs. Here's immortalising the incident in print and picture on the blogosphere.

The vague A4 size laminated "Failure Announcement" stuck to the closed metal rail doors of the K-Avenue (KLCC) entrance.

Chaos in the morning in KL Sentral station.
Entrance opened narrowly to let in "select" passengers only.
Those who got it - also got stuck for hours in the station waiting for the train.
What a waste of time.

I took one look and went out to the Monorail instead to get to work. Had to pay extra because I already paid for an LRT monthly pass which I could not use the whole day because of the breakdown.
What irks me the most is that the Putra LRT people didn't want to say how long the problem was going to be.
Left the question hanging in the air. Which in turn left many people hoping that it will be back in operation within a few hours. We all know that it was not until the next day it was working again.
